TOWN OF CORNWALL TOWN BOARD

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cornwall will be held on Tuesday September 29, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at Cornwall, Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Cornwall, New York.  The purpose of this special meeting will be to: i) introduce a Local Law modifying the residency requirements of the Town Chief of Police and setting a public hearing for said Local Law; ii) consider awarding bid for the Icehouse Pavilion Improvements; iii) have the Town Clerk present the 2027 Tentative Town Budget to the Town Board as required by Town Law §106(3); and iv) enter into executive session pursuant to Public Officers Law Section 105(1)(f) to interview candidates for the position of Town Chief of Police. No other business of the Board will be conducted at said meeting and no public comment will be taken.
