Veterans Day Pickup Schedule

The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Friday November 10th, in observance of Veterans Day.  There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day.  Recycling will have to be held for pick up on the following Friday, November 17th, 2023.  District 1 will only have trach pickup on Tuesday of that week, November 7th.  Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171, sorry for any inconvenience.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Cornwall, in the County of Orange, State of New York, will meet at the Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Cornwall, New York, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 7:30 P.M. for the purpose of conducting a Budget Workshop any other business that may come before the Boards.

Parking Restrictions for Sunday, October 8th – Fall Festival

On Sunday October 8^th 2023, in support of the Fall Festival, the following road closures will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Main Street will be closed to all traffic between the traffic circle and Hazen Street.
There will be no parking on Main Street, Torrey Lane, or Willow Avenue between Main Street and Broadway.
Side streets in the surrounding area will have parking restricted to one side of the street.

Please keep in mind that vehicles remaining on Main Street during this time will be subject to towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.

The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Monday, October 9th, in observance of Columbus Day. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day. Recycling will have to be held for pick up on the following Monday, October 16th 2023.
District 2 will only have trash pickup on Thursday of that week, October 12th. Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171. Sorry for any inconvenience.
