Veterans Day Pickup Schedule

The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022 for Veterans Day.   There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day.  Recycling will have to be held for pick up on the following Friday, November 18, 2022.  District 1 will only have trach pickup on Tuesday of that week, November 7th. Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171, sorry for any inconvenience.

Town of Cornwall Pickleball / Tennis Survey

The Town is currently working on a masterplan for Riverlight Park and is looking to locate and eventually construct pickleball courts as part of this process. Residents have requested that the Town stripe half of the tennis courts with pickleball lines to create a safer environment to play their sport until a more permanent solution is implemented. Special Meeting - Monday, October 24, 2022

Monday, October 24, 2022 at 4:15 p.m. in the Town Hall conference room the Cornwall Town Board will hold a Special Meeting to temporarily assign a paper of record.

Parking Restrictions - Sunday Oct 30, 2022

On Sunday October 30th, 2022 there will be NO Parking permitted on either side of Main Street from the Traffic Circle to Willow Avenue from 1:00pm -4:00pm due to a Town authorized Halloween event.  During this time Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Firthcliffe Heights Water District Residents - Hydrant Flushing Notice

The Town of New Windsor Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants on Monday, September 19, 2022 and continue through Friday, October 7, 2022.  Town residents and Stewart Airport occupants as well as the Firthcliffe Heights section of Cornwall may experience some water discoloration and low water pressure during this time.  If you have any questions, please contact Scott Van Dyke at 845-561-2550.

Parking Restrictions for Sunday, September 18th Fall Festival

Parking restrictions for the Fall Festival: Sunday, September 18, 2022, there will be No Parking on Main Street from the Traffic Circle to Hazen Street from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. There will be No Parking on Torrey Lane from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and side streets will be restricted to one side of the street.
