Thanksgiving Holiday Pickup Schedule

The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, both Thursday and Friday, November 24th & 25th.   There will be no trash or recycling pickups on those days.  Recycling will have to be held for pick up the following week.  Both districts will only have one trash pickup, Monday for District 2 and Tuesday for District 1.  Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Veterans Day Pickup Schedule

The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022 for Veterans Day.   There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day.  Recycling will have to be held for pick up on the following Friday, November 18, 2022.  District 1 will only have trach pickup on Tuesday of that week, November 7th. Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171, sorry for any inconvenience.

Town of Cornwall Pickleball / Tennis Survey

The Town is currently working on a masterplan for Riverlight Park and is looking to locate and eventually construct pickleball courts as part of this process. Residents have requested that the Town stripe half of the tennis courts with pickleball lines to create a safer environment to play their sport until a more permanent solution is implemented. Firthcliffe Heights Water District Residents - Hydrant Flushing Notice

The Town of New Windsor Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants on Monday, September 19, 2022 and continue through Friday, October 7, 2022.  Town residents and Stewart Airport occupants as well as the Firthcliffe Heights section of Cornwall may experience some water discoloration and low water pressure during this time.  If you have any questions, please contact Scott Van Dyke at 845-561-2550.
