Proposed Treetop Warehouse Project

Treetop Companies is proposing a warehouse project on the former Cornwall Commons site off 9W. The project currently is before the Planning Board and Town Board for review and approval.  Below is the link to their presentation.

Juneteenth Holiday Schedule

The Town of Cornwall offices including Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed Monday, June 20, 2022 in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day. Monday’s recycling will have to be held until the following week, Monday, June 27, 2022. Trash/solid waste in District 2 will only have one pickup that week on Thursday, June, 23, 2022.

Central Hudson Cornwall Project - Quaker Avenue Timeline

Central Hudson has advised they will start work again on Quaker Avenue the week of May 30th and expects work to be completed the end of that week. If weather delays are experienced, an additional week would be needed and work will be completed at the end of the week of June 6th.

Memorial Day Parking Restrictions

On Monday May 30, 2022 the American Legion will be holding it’s annual Memorial Day Parade. In support of this there will be NO PARKING on the Following Streets from 8 AM-12 PM :
- NO PARKING on Main Street from the Traffic Circle to Hudson Street
- NO PARKING on Broadway
- NO PARKING on Willow Avenue from Broadway to Main Street
- NO PARKING on Hudson Street from Main Street to the Village line
